Popbox Card

The Popbox Card is a custom-shaped greeting card designed for holiday collections, children's birthdays, intellectual property merchandise, wedding invitations, and gift-box accessories.

The card uses die cutting to create flower, heart, animal, character, or brand-specific shapes. It is made from 300–400 gsm thick specialty card stock.

The die-cut edges are produced to remain smooth and free from visible burrs. A matching special-shaped envelope can also be customized so that the complete set follows the same design concept.

An optional three-dimensional pop-up structure can be added inside the card. This creates an interactive opening experience and gives the product more display value than a standard flat card.

The combination of exterior shape, printed artwork, internal structure, and matching envelope allows buyers to build highly differentiated seasonal or themed products.

Available creative processes include pop-up structures, cutout designs, and flocking. Hot stamping, UV coating, and embossing can also be used according to the required design.

A flower shape can be used for a wedding or appreciation card. A heart shape can support a Valentine's Day project. Animal or character outlines are suitable for children's products or licensed-style merchandise.

Typical applications include Valentine's Day gift cards, children's birthday cards, character merchandise, holiday gift-box inserts, and custom wedding invitations.

Compared with a standard rectangular card, the unusual outline provides stronger shelf recognition. It can also increase the perceived completeness of a gift set when the card and envelope are designed together.

Custom-shaped products require careful confirmation because the cutting line, artwork, fold position, internal pop-up structure, and envelope dimensions must work together.

OEM and ODM services are available. Production can also follow customer technical drawings or prototypes.

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 copies. Different colors or models may be mixed within one minimum-order project. This allows buyers to develop several holiday designs, character versions, or gift-box combinations.

A sample can be prepared before mass production, and free samples may also be available. The customized sample development period is 15 days.

Buyers can check the shape accuracy, edge smoothness, opening movement, pop-up construction, cutout position, flocking, envelope fit, fold lines, and artwork alignment before approving production.

Pictures or videos can be provided during production for remote checking of printing, finishing, die cutting, assembly, and packing.

Quality control includes prepress color management, self-inspection at each stage, cross-inspection during post-print processing, final inspection, and a 100% check before packing. Third-party inspection is accepted.

Each card is placed in an individual plastic bag and packed in a labeled five-layer corrugated carton. This helps protect shaped edges and three-dimensional structures from wear and compression during long-distance transportation.
