Hardbound Manuscript

The Hardbound Manuscript is a hardcover notebook developed for office writing, business gifts, branded stationery, and creative product collections. Its cover uses 2.0–3.0 mm thickened greyboard. The board can be wrapped with coated paper or selected specialty paper to create different surface textures and visual styles.

The notebook supports 32–512 inner pages. Available inner paper includes 70–120 gsm offset writing paper or woodfree paper. These paper options are suitable for daily notes, meeting records, planning, journaling, and general office writing.

Standard sizes include A5, A6, B5, and A4. Custom shapes and non-standard dimensions are also supported. This range allows buyers to develop compact promotional notebooks, regular office books, hotel room stationery, or larger notebooks for business and project records.

The rigid cover provides better pressure resistance than a softcover notebook. It also helps the finished product remain flat and stable during storage, shipment, and shelf display.

The cover can be customized with full-color printing, hot stamping, embossing, or UV finishing. These processes can be used to display a company logo, event name, brand pattern, gift-series title, or other design information.

The notebook can use thread-sewn or adhesive binding. Some structures can open flat to 180 degrees, making it easier to write near the center of the page and reducing pressure on the user's hand.

A moisture-resistant laminated surface is provided as a standard protective option. This treatment helps reduce cover wear, moisture absorption, and edge lifting during long-term storage, especially in humid environments.

The combination of a rigid cover, writing paper, and customizable branding makes this product suitable for corporate gifts, exhibition giveaways, hotel notebooks, membership gifts, branded stationery, and everyday office use.

OEM and ODM services are available. Production can also follow customer technical drawings or physical prototypes.

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 copies. Different colors or models may be mixed within one minimum-order project. This is useful for buyers who need several cover colors, different notebook sizes, or multiple designs for one campaign.

A sample can be prepared before mass production. The development period for a customized sample is 15 days. Buyers can check the greyboard thickness, wrapping paper, lamination, logo position, inner paper, binding method, and opening performance before approving the complete order.

Standard products normally require 5–7 days for production. Customized products normally require 7–10 days. Repeat orders may have a shorter lead time. Pictures or videos can be supplied during production for progress checking.

Factory equipment supports lamination, UV coating, hot stamping, embossing, die cutting, mounting, and binding. These capabilities allow the cover wrapping, surface finishing, inner-page printing, and final binding processes to be coordinated within one production system.

Quality control includes prepress color management, self-inspection at each stage, cross-inspection during finishing, final inspection, and a 100% check before packing. Third-party inspection is also accepted.

Each notebook is placed in an individual plastic bag and packed in a labeled five-layer corrugated carton. This packaging helps reduce moisture, scratching, and compression during international transportation.
